Born in Hong Kong and raised in Toronto, I spent my childhood immersed in drawing Gundam's, building LEGO's, and getting lost in Calvin and Hobbes at the local library. My love for filmmaking sparked at age twelve when my dad showed me Aliens - while mom wasn't thrilled, I was captivated by the practical effects, especially that infamous Chestburster scene! This led me down a rabbit hole discovering Buster Keaton, Looney Tunes, and Hayao Miyazaki, ultimately inspiring my path in the arts.

Starting at Unionville High's Arts York program before heading to Sheridan College, I picked up the skills that would kickstart my animation journey. Drawing from the inspiration of creative pioneers, I've spent over a decade bringing stories and characters to life for major studios like Disney, Netflix, and CBC⁠⁠.
